Zencefil- Gingerbread

Tarçını çok sevdiğim için bu kurabiyeyi yapmayı uzun zamandır istiyordum. Adam figürü aradım ama şansıma eminönünde hangi kapıyı çalsam, hepsi kalmadı dedi! bende kalpli ve çiçekli yaptım:) Tadı ahrika oluyor, daha fotoğrafını çekemeden, eksilmeye başaldılar tabaktan. Fırında pişerken başından ayrılamayacaksınız, mükemmel bir koku yayıyor. Harika görünüyorlar!

ZENCEFİL 

Zencefilinkeskin bir kokusu var toz haldeyken ama kurabiyede hissetmiyorsunuz. Hem kek, kurabiyeelrinizde kullanabilirisniz hemde çay gibi demleyip içebilirsiniz. ABD’li bilimadamlarının yaptığı araştırmaya göre kanserli hücre üzerindede olumlu etkisi olduğu öne sürülüyor. Buarada bazı insanlarada alerji yapabiliyormuş.

ZENCEFİL, Güney Asya ve Hindistanda yetişmektedir, nemli iklim ve sulak yerleri sever.

Ginger is native to India and China. It takes its name from the Sanskrit word stringa-vera, which means “with a body like a horn”, as in antlers. Ginger has been important in Chinese medicine for many centuries, and is mentioned in the writings of Confucius. It is also named in the Koran, the sacred book of the Moslems, indicating it was known in Arab countries as far back as 650 A.D. It was one of the earliest spice known in Western Europe, used since the ninth century. It became so popular in Europe that it was included in every table setting, like salt and pepper. A common article of medieval and Renaissance trade, it was one of the spices used against the plague. In English pubs and taverns in the nineteenth century, barkeepers put out small containers of ground ginger, for people to sprinkle into their beer — the origin of ginger ale. In order to ’gee up’ a lazy horse, it is the time honoured practice of Sussex farmers to apply a pinch of ginger to the animal’s backside..

Ginger allergies
Some people are allergic to ginger. Generally, this is reported as having a gaseous component. This may take the form of flatulence, or it may take the form of an extreme constriction or tightening in the throat necessitating uncontrollable burping to relieve the pressure.

Holiday tourism london

With a population of just under eight million, London is Europe’s largest city, spreading across an area of more than 620 square miles from its core on the River Thames. Ethnically it’s also Europe’s most diverse metropolis: around two hundred languages are spoken within its confines, and more than thirty percent of the population is made up of first-, second- and third-generation immigrants. Despite Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish devolution, London still dominates the national horizon, too: this is where the country’s news and money are made, it’s where the central government resides and, as far as its inhabitants are concerned, provincial life begins beyond the circuit of the city’s orbital motorway. Londoners’ sense of superiority causes enormous resentment in the regions, yet it’s undeniable that the capital has a unique aura of excitement and success – in most walks of British life, if you want to get on you’ve got to do it in London.

For the visitor, too, London is a thrilling place – and in the last few years, the city has been in a relatively buoyant mood. Thanks to the national lottery and the millennium-oriented funding frenzy, virtually every one of London’s world-class museums, galleries and institutions has been reinvented, from the Royal Opera House to the British Museum. In the Tate Modern and the London Eye, the city can now boast the world’s largest modern art gallery and Ferris wheel, and the first new bridge to cross the Thames for over a hundred years. Furthermore, following sixteen years of being the only major city in the world not to have its own governing body, London finally acquired its own elected assembly in 2000, along with a mayor who’s determined to try and solve one of London’s biggest problems: transport.

In the meantime, London’s traditional sights – Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London – continue to draw in millions of tourists every year. Monuments from the capital’s more glorious past are everywhere to be seen, from medieval banqueting halls and the great churches of Christopher Wren to the eclectic Victorian architecture of the triumphalist British Empire. There is also much enjoyment to be had from the city’s quiet Georgian squares, the narrow alleyways of the City of London, the riverside walks, and the quirks of what is still identifiably a collection of villages. And even London’s traffic problems are offset by surprisingly large expanses of greenery: Hyde Park, Green Park and St James’s Park are all within a few minutes’ walk of the West End, while, further afield, you can enjoy the more expansive countryside of Hampstead Heath and Richmond Park.

You could spend days just shopping in London, too, mixing with the upper classes in the tiara triangle around Harrods, or sampling the offbeat weekend markets of Portobello Road, Camden and Greenwich. The music, clubbing and gay/lesbian scenes are second to none, and mainstream arts are no less exciting, with regular opportunities to catch brilliant theatre companies, dance troupes, exhibitions and opera. Restaurants, these days, are an attraction, too. London is now on a par with its European rivals, and offers a range from three-star Michelin establishments to low-cost, high-quality Chinese restaurants and Indian curry houses. Meanwhile, the city’s pubs have heaps of atmosphere, especially away from the centre – and an exploration of the farther-flung communities is essential to get the complete picture of this dynamic metropolis.

Gökhan’ın tatil notları 3(köprülü kanyonda rafting)

Bu sefer size rafting olayını anlatıcam.

Rafting sporu kaldığımız yere çok yakın olan köprülü kanyonda yapılıyor.

Köprülü kanyon: 

Manavgat’ın sınırları içerisindedir. Bolasan Köyü ile Beşkonak arasında 14 km. uzunluğunda, 100 m. derinliğinde bir vadidir. Gür sedir ormanları ile kaplıdır. Kapadokya’daki peri bacalarına benzeyen doğa görünümü oldukça ilginçtir. Köprü Çayı üzerindeki antik taş köprü bugün de kullanılmaktadır.

Kanyonun en üst kısmında taştan bir köprü mevcut onun alt kısmında sizi hava sıcaklığına rağmen buz gibi akan bir suya sokuyorlar ve daha sonrada hem fotoğrafınızı çekip hemde videoya kaydediyorlar. Bot rehberiyle yaptığımız konuşmada aslında yukarda daha büyük bir taş köprü olduğunu öğrendik ama daha yukarıdan botlara binilecek yer olmadığından ordan botlara bindik kanyon toplam 14 kilometrelik bir parkura sahip. Kanyon yolu üzerinde bir çok rafting şirketi var. Olay turizm olunca herkes kazıklama peşinde biz 35 milyona gittik. 25 milyonada 40 milyonada gidenler vardı. araya aracı kurumlar girince fiyata oldukça bindiriyorlar. En düşük Fiyat 25 milyon içinde yol rafting ve yemek var (yemekte meşrubatlar paralı). Neyse devam edelim parkurda iki büyük şelale var ilkinden ilk bota bindiğinizde iniyorsunuz ve direk ona girdiğiniz için ilk başta bir ürküyorsunuz fakat ondan sonraki şelaleler okdrda büyük değiller. yol boyu 3-4 kere dinlenmek - ısınmak -atlamak ve yemek yemek için ara veriyoruz. Bir yandan şelalelerden geçerken sizi sağ tarafta bekleyen fotoğrafçı ve kameramanlar çekiyor. 10 kilo metre yolu aldıktan sonra yemek yiyorsunuz. Bu mesafe sizin katıldığınız şirketin yerine göre değişiyor. Daha sonra ordan bir 4 kilometre daha gittik. Şirketin orda bir yeri daha var. Burda işte adamların kendilerininde söylediği gibi para kazandıkları yer. Çektikleri fotoğrafları ve video yu sattıkları yer fotoğrafların tanesini 8 ytl den satarken dvd den 40 ytl alıyorlar. Tavsiye giderken yanınızda kuru birşeyler götürün gün boyu parkurda soğuk suya maruz kalıyorsunuz sonra aşağı gittiğinizde üzerinizdekileri otobüsten kuru eşyalarınızı alıp değiştirip ısına bilirsiniz aksi taktirde otele kadar donuyorsunuz . Sonuç olarak heycanlı ve güzel bir etkinlik herkesin bir kere katılması lazım biraz yorucu oluyor kürekler felan özellikle bizim botta az kişiydik ve bayan ve çocuklar pek kürek çekemediğinden dolayı daha çok yorulduk ama yinede çok zevkliydi ve hoşumuza gitti tavsiye ediyoruz…

Tepenin gözleri

Kendi çektiğim fotoğraf. Geçen gün çift anadal programı için başvurduk arkadaşımla, baya strese girmiştim. Eskden çizdiklerimi ve çektiğim fotoğrafalrımı ahzırladım. Bayaa heyecanlıydım, ikimizlede görüşme yaptılar. İlk başta cazip gelmişti, istediğin bir bölümün eğitimini ek olarak alıcaktım, hem eğlenceli olucaktı hemde hayatımda büyük bir dğeişklik olucaktı ve bana çok şey katıcaktı. Bunlar olayların cazip tarafıydı. Ama bölümde okumak için baya masraf yapamız gerekicekti eğitim boyunca, ek masraflar. Busene kardeşiminde üniye başlıyacagını düşünürsek ve İstanbul dışında olucagından, bizi baya zorlıcak. Burasını hiç düşünmemiştim. Şimdide inşallah arkadaşım kazanır ve ikilemde kalmam. Hem bende buarada yine ders veririm öğrencilere.

   mürekkep benimde parmagıma degdi. İlk oyumu kullandım bugün. Güzel bir duyguydu. herşeyden önemlisi 1 oy 1 oydur, benimde düşüncelerim yansıyacak topluma. Hepimizin ki birleşip, laik ve demokratik herkesin raatla yaşabileceği iyi bir yönetim istegimiz. sötlencek ok şey var ama herşey güzel olur inşallahh..

    Akşamda Tepenin Gözleri adlı filmi izledim. Acayip bir gerilimdi, film çok güzel. Nükleer silahların insanları ne hale getirdiği, kendi çıkarlarımız uğruna bir sürü insanın hayatının ansıl hiçe sayıldıgı görülüyor. İzlemenizi tavsiye ederim..

I am not a plastic bag

Before the bag comes to shop, at 6:30 am the lines started to form for one of this season’s most coveted accessories, a $15 canvas bag. 

Designer Anya Hindmarch’s “I am not a plastic bag” quickly sold out in London in a matter of hours months before being released. The bag retailed for 5 pounds in the UK but quickly fetched $400 US on Ebay.  Today was the first day of the release for the US addition and by 11:00am the line had amassed over 400 people, and about ten news reporters covering the event.  The Soho store was limited to 800 bags and quickly sold out.

Limited to just two bags, almost everyone in line had plans of purchasing both and selling off the extra.   Since last checked this afternoon the highest bid on ebay was $200.  Although there has been much discussion about the anti plastic bag movement, I did not get the feeling that this crowd was in it for the good of the environment.

San Francisco just banned the use of plastic bags a few months back and Vogue recently spoke about the new “it” accessory of the season being a bag with sustainable style.  At the end of the day you decide if it’s Eco Chic, or accessory envy.
